SPACEBAR

The Spacebar of Life

These days, our keyboards seem to hold the keys to life itself. Each key mirrors a part of our journey—Delete for memories we wish to erase, Control for the things we want but fail to manage, Shift for the next level we crave, and Pause for those moments we dream of freezing in time.

But while cleaning my keyboard today, one key stood out—the Spacebar. The biggest key, unmarked, and yet the most used. Why so much space for “space”?

At first, I laughed at the thought: maybe the makers felt guilty for not printing anything on it and overcompensated by making it huge. But then, I pressed my “illogical” key…

Space. Bar.

Two words. Space—the invisible thing we all crave: in relationships, at work, in our minds. And Bar—the level we constantly strive to raise.

Suddenly, it all made sense.

Space isn’t just property or the universe; it’s the pause between action and reaction, the silent gap that gives meaning to life. But often, we overcrowd this space—by stepping into others’ or losing our own. And when that happens, I head to my favorite bar… not just the one that serves drinks, but the one where I quietly raise my own bar.

Because in the end, all I need is simple:

A little space and a worthy bar to raise.
